Designed by award-winning Auckland architect Darren Jessop, Wavesong’s seven COOLHOUSE homes epitomise the very best contemporary New Zealand architecture has to offer. The concept of the COOLHOUSE design is to engender the quintessential Kiwi holiday home, with great indoor-outdoor flow, perfect for entertaining any time of the year, flowing onto soft lawns and a heavily landscaped fringe.
Wavesong COOLHOUSES come in two distinctive designs – Mahene and Taumata, from the Maori meaning for ‘serene’ and ‘resting place’. Both layouts offer spacious open-plan living, generous, sun-drenched north-facing decks, full-height floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, three double bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, and one-and-a-half bathrooms.
